Young people are learning all day, year round, and in a variety of locations. RESCHOOL seeks to partner with and highlight the organizations providing that learning.
We provided 1,350 families with programming through our HGW Virtual Community Center. We offered kid’s yoga, plant identification and 3 trips for social distance STEAM-Native and place based lessons in 2021. We have also provided program in art and have personally witnessed the increase in student interest for our programs this year.
All students received core standards math and literacy for 6th-8th grade the first half of the day. The second half of the day all students participated in arts state standards training to produce two sold out performances of The Wiz. One show was in Aurora and one was in Denver. Students also learned additional skills like social-emotional skills, social justice, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, education policy and community engagement.

Finding learning opportunities your family cares about should be simple.
Colorado is filled with learning providers who are providing inspiring opportunities for young people and people should know about them.
The DISCOVER learning resource helps families and young people easily find online, at-home and in-person learning opportunities in the Denver-Metro area.

Join RESCHOOL’s Learning Dollars Initiative
The Learning Dollars Initiative creates learning accounts for families, managed on the ClassWallet platform. It is available to families who work with RESCHOOL, TEN or Cultivando in the Denver Metro area, Harrison School District 2 in the Colorado Springs area, Mesa County Valley School District 51 in the Grand Junction area, the Roaring Fork School District in the Carbondale/Glenwood Springs area, and Vilas School District Re-5 in southeastern Colorado.
Under the initiative, families will receive $500 per child (ages 5-17). The funding will be deposited into a ClassWallet account for families approved for the program. Families can spend funding as they wish on learning resources and experiences for their children listed on the ClassWallet platform. This may be tutoring, a summer camp, art supplies, books, or a variety of other in person, online, or at home activities.
We want families to be able to access a broad array of services and supports, so if you provide resources such as art supplies, support such as tutoring or experiences such as summer camp, you are an eligible provider. You can find an overview of the types of activities we expect families to spend their resources on this summer here.
- Read this Information Sheet for Providers (English and Spanish) to learn more about the process and how to sign up
- Give families the option to spend their learning dollars with you:

- Sign up to be listed on DISCOVER, RESCHOOL’s resource for families to explore organizations offering programming while their children aren’t in school.
